This is her favourite book so far, the one that could hold her attention the longest. As she's a very active kid, longest for her would mean 5 to 10 minutes. For now I keep this book in the car, along with some coloured pencils and paper for scribbling, so she would sit down quietly for some time. Her favourite would be the 4 pizzas, because she could take them off and paste them on repeatedly. Next would be the 1 rabbit, the 2 doors, the 5 birds and the 6 fishes. The 3D stuff that you could actually hold is what makes this book awesome! She would actually point out her finger and "count" in a sing-song voice by herself. Even her older cousins love playing with this book. A truly fantastic and engaging book.

Learning is a Lifelong Journey - for ALL of us!

This blog is dedicated to all the mommies & daddies, all the gonna-be & wannabe mommies & daddies of the world (that would mean everyone on the face of the earth, wouldn't it?), and it sprung from my desire to spend more time with my two kids and be more involved in their learning and playing experience, instead of leaving the teaching task solely to teachers. Who should be better teachers to your children other than yourself? I assure you, seeing your child show you what she has learned from you, are immensely, the most incredible, satisfying feeling you’ll ever experience.

However, this is also a documentation of my life experiences, an outlet for all things related to my life - motherhood, my personal views on a variety of things, relationships, musings and whatever that comes to my mind at the moment. We never stop learning, do we?

I am no expert in childcare or child learning, just your average mother-next-door. All the information here I have read in books, magazines and the internet, and I’ve inserted my own experience with my children along the way. I would just like to share what I’ve learned with all of you out there (see, I’m learning too!) so you could reap the benefits that I am still reaping, and hope to gain, in the years to come.
